The race is now down to two teams...Brewers and Cubs. The Cardinals have called it quits with announcing they are going to start their rebuild before the season ends. As in now. Today.

Cubs are doing well going into the final stretch. Just swept the Pirates. Cubs are now 12 games above 500. Brewers are trailing 3.5 games back.

Lastly, and exciting for me anyway, the Cubs made history. What history? For the first time in history, the Cubs have 6 players with 20 or more home runs. The 10th time in MLB history for a team to accomplish this achievement.
