| What to do?
You may have noticed that I have not posted on this site since Nov 28, 2009.
I am debating on what to do with the site. Facebook, has become the norm with
keeping everyone up to date with what is going on. I have years of blogging on
this site and I plan on at a min archiving it on this site. possibly on another
site. That leave me asking what do I want to do with this site. If you have any
ideas email me.

| USA
"The highest glory of the American Revolution was this:
It connected, in one indissoluble bond, the principles of
civil government with the principles of Christianity."
--John Quincy Adams
Our government was built on Christianity. It is pretty easy to
see from what our country's creators wrote and spoke. Even in
the Declaration of independence.
"We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are
created equal(1)(2)(3)(4), that they are endowed by their Creator(6)(7) with
certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life(8)(9),
Liberty(10) and the pursuit of Happiness(9)(11)."
--Declaration of Independence
Note: Below are a few, definitely not all scriptures that pertain,
that I found tonight.
(1) Deuteronomy 10:17(New King James Version)
For the LORD your God is God of gods and Lord of lords, the great God,
mighty and awesome, who shows no partiality nor takes a bribe.
(2) Galatians 3:28(New King James Version)
There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there
is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus.
(3) Acts 10:34 (New King James Version)
Then Peter opened his mouth and said: "In truth I perceive that
God shows no partiality.
(4) Romans 2:11 (New King James Version)
For there is no partiality with God.
(6) Genesis 1:27 (New King James Version)
So God created man in His own image; in the image of
God He created him; male and female He created them.
(7) Genesis 2:7 (New King James Version)
And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and
breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living being.
(8) Exodus 20:13 (New King James Version)
You shall not murder.
(9) Psalm 16:11 (New King James Version)
You will show me the path of life; In Your presence is fullness of joy;
At Your right hand are pleasures forevermore.
(10) Galatians 5:1 (New King James Version)
Stand fast therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free,
and do not be entangled again with a yoke of bondage.
(11) Ecclesiastes 2:24-26 (New King James Version)
Nothing is better for a man than that he should eat and drink,
and that his soul should enjoy good in his labor. This also, I saw,
was from the hand of God. For who can eat, or who can have enjoyment,
more than I? For God gives wisdom and knowledge and joy to a man who
is good in His sight;

| That mouse
The darnest thing... that mouse. I had never seen a mouse that bold before. First terrorizing Aaron.
Then terrorizing Anne. Then me chasing the mouse with two shoes in both of my hands and later a broom.
He/she may have put the fear in Aaron and Anne, but trust me, I put the fear in that mouse. Unfortunately,
I did not kill it. Trust me, I wanted to. But upon Anne's request, I did not. I don't think that was a sound choice.
I'm sure he/she will find a way back into the house.
Last night, Aaron came running down stairs to tell me he saw a bug in his room the size of his fist. I started
teasing Aaron saying this must be the famous monster bug that August and Paige have spotted. Anne makes
the remark that it might have been a mouse. Aaron goes back up stairs. 15 minutes later, I heard a noise from
Aaron that sounded like a cross between a horse whinny and a squeal. I then burst in laughter at Aaron because of the sound.
(I'm sorry, I could not help it). Aaron informs Anne and I that he just saw a mouse run across his bed. So I tell Aaron, 'Lets
go up and have a look', half not expecting to see anything. When we get up there, Aaron exclaims, "See! There!
It just went under my pillow". The pillow is laying on the floor. I pick up the pillow and to my amazement, there is a
mouse. The mouse looks at me for a second and runs under Aaron's bed. I tell Aaron to go to the other side of the bed.
We try to find it and flush it out, but can't find the darn thing. I thought it must have gotten away with out us seeing
it OR it was hiding somewhere
in Aaron bed. I open the drawers on the bed, beat on the bed, etc. No luck. I tell Aaron we will put traps under his bed
tomorrow.
Now that all the kids were in bed, Anne and I play some Farmville. After that, we call it a night and go to bed. Anne falls a sleep pretty fast,
but I'm not ready to sleep yet, so I get up. I leave the room for no more than 2 minutes when I hear Anne scream "Mike!" I come
running in to see what is wrong. She tells me to turn on the light. Anne claims she could swear she felt a bug in her hair.
I tell her I don't see anything now, thinking it was her having a dream. She asks me to look at her hair, which I do. I tell
her that nothing is in her hair. Anne swears it was not her imagination. She turns around and picks up her pillow and
screams. There was that dang mouse, hiding under her pillow. It then takes off for the side of the bed.
To keep it simple, the next 15 minutes was me sealing doors with towels while I chased down this mouse with energy
that I had not had since I was young. I was determined to get rid of this mouse. If I did not, Anne was not going to go
back to sleep.
That would mean I would not go to sleep. Knowingly, that would be a long night and we both had to work in the morning.
I finally forced the mouse out of the house onto our back porch. But, like every mouse.... the varmit will be back.

| Cisco Classes
I so want to recode the posting process of this web site. Hopefully soon. But that is not what I'm posting about.
What I'm posting about is....Cisco!
I'm happy to says that I'm finally going to take the Cisco Classes that I was originally to take in June, now at the end of this month.
I'm kinda excited about this because I hope to take this to a new technology learning tree for myself. I have already
started studying and learned a lot already. I'm also ready to start hacking these new protocols. Oddly, it
dose not appear to many others are inclined to want to know the same details at the delivery level. Or at least that is
my opinion from my observations.

| A little update
First, We have a new "family member". His name is Rodger. He is 16 years old. He is very quiet and laid back. He love to eat fruits, veggies, and worms.
He loves to dig and sleeps under his water bowl.
Roger is a Western Box Turtle. He is set up in a 100 gallon aquarium with a sunning rock, coconut shell soil, along other things.
As of today, August, Paige, and Aaron are now in school. August is in the Pre-K program and the grade school. Paige is in first grade. Aaron is in eighth.
Aaron and Paige of course started two weeks before August. So far, so good.
I have been programming my genealogy software again. I have made some nice changes to it. If you want to look at my CVS on source-forge, you can see some of
the changes I'm making. The biggest features are the internal and external search abilities. There are a few other things I'm fixing that was bugging me, but
not really hurting the GEDCOM files or anything like that. I will have some screen shots up soon on my website. I'm still
using my custom GUI libraries. Some day, I may still port it to standard win-32 and GTK GUI. But right now, how I see it, my GUI works on most everything, and
easier. I just still lack a few things that the more advanced GUIs have.

| House update
Yesterday when I got home from work, the North side (garage side) and the West side (front side) of the
house looked drastically different. I took a quick photo of the front of the house.
Here are some before photos taken quite a while ago:

| Problem-Solution
Today I had to run a jumper and came across this problem - one inch of water that I did not feel like wading in. Notice the APC sitting on a concrete block and the cord is in the water I refused to get my shoes and socks dirty. I was also afraid of getting electrocuted.

So I found some more concrete blocks and stole some wood panels.

| Start
The house project has begun. Work on the front porch and roof has started, but not
the bricks yet. We have two bins in our driveway and some type of crane parked off
the side of our drive way.
Pictures will be posted soon.
Here is the door that we will probably purchase.

| mobility
Lazy butt has now decided that it is OK to walk from furniture to furniture.
If speed is necessary, crawling is the way to go.
As I finished the last sentence, Maddison just walked across the whole living
room - passing the furniture all together. I guess to show me that I am wrong.

| Jesus Description Part I
Jesus Descriptions from Eyewitnesses
A description of Jesus Himself
is found in "The Archko Volume" which contains official court documents
from the days of the Messiah. In a chapter entiled "Gamaliel's Interview"
it states concerning Jesus (Yhshua):
"I asked him to describe
this person to me, so that I might know him if I should meet him. He said:
'If you ever meet him [Yhshua] you will know him. While he is nothing but
a man, there is something about him that distinguishes him from every other
man. He is the picture of his mother, only he has not her smooth, round
face. His hair is a little more golden than hers, though it is as much
from sunburn as anything else. He is tall, and his shoulders are a little
drooped; his visage is thin and of a swarthy complexion, though this is
from exposure. His eyes are large and a soft blue, and rather dull and
heavy....' This Jew [Judahite] is convinced that he is the Messiah of the
world. ...this was the same person that was born of the virgin in Bethlehem
some twenty-six years before..."
This is a reprinting of a
letter from Pontius Pilate to Tiberius Caesar describing the physical appearance
of Jesus. Copies are in the Congressional Library in Washington, D.C.
